OUR PROCESS

OUR PROCESS

Breaking down how we select projects

Identify

IDENTIFY

The first step of the process is identifying which projects have been properly submitted and have enough donor support.

Evaluate

EVALUATE

After these projects are identified, they are evaluated by our Board of Directors based on six, pre-determined criteria.

Fund

FUND

Once a project passes the evaluation process, it moves into the funding stage where donors can begin to contribute to its goals.

HOW ARE PROJECTS IDENTIFIED?

Projects are typically identified by donors who have a passion to see a need met that impacts the lives of children in their community. The donor submits the project to Make An Impact Foundation for approval. In order to properly submit a project the following will be needed: actual funding amount, project start date, project end date, at least one project photo, a project narrative, project contact information, donor name and a first donation amount. Please also include vendor names and contact information for the project. Correctly submitted projects will be reviewed monthly by the MAIF Board of Directors. Each project evaluated and approved will then be moved into the funding process.
