MAIF Kids Play Program

Kids Play
We have worked alongside Miracle Recreation to bring the voices of children in need to the community by creating a project platform for the communities it serves. It’s our ultimate goal to create a place where all children have equal opportunity and ability to play freely without barriers to growth, dreams and imagination.
As part of our mission, MAIF, Miracle Recreation and media broadcast groups across the United States have worked to reverse the decline of outdoor play in America by completing over 28 playgrounds in the states of Alabama, North Carolina, Michigan, Florida, Missouri, Massachusetts and Nevada!
The crisis of play has a negative impact on the physical, emotion and social wellbeing of kids, families and communities throughout the nation. Through this partnership, our goal is to bring local sponsors and the community together to raise funds to build new playgrounds that will bring back the benefits of play and strengthen communities across America.

StoryWalks
At Make an Impact Foundation, we believe literacy should be accessible, engaging, and woven into everyday life. StoryWalks bring children’s books into public outdoor spaces, encouraging families to read together while moving, exploring, and connecting with their community.
By combining early literacy, physical activity, and family engagement, StoryWalks help foster a love of reading while removing barriers to access. Through partnerships with libraries, parks, and local organizations, each StoryWalk becomes a shared community resource that supports children’s learning and wellbeing.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.”
We would love to talk to you about a play project in your community, please reach out to us for more info.
