With the help of the community and donors like you, Drones2Jets and the Make an Impact Foundation raised over $60,000 to help families in Western North Carolina.
Drones2Jets Helping Hands Hurricane Relief partnered with several nonprofit organizations to provide critical support in Western North Carolina. Thanks to the generous contributions made through our social media campaign and our My Corporate Partners, we raised over $60,000. These funds were used to distribute essential items such as generators, heaters, and hygiene products to those in need.
Our most significant expenditure was covering the fuel costs for over 80 flights that delivered resources to the hardest-hit areas. These flights were made possible by dedicated volunteer pilots and were organized by Operation Airdrop and Hurricane Helene Airlift Relief.
As the holiday season approaches, it’s easy for the relief effort to fade from our minds. However, the need for support remains urgent. We are still raising funds to provide the most essential items to those affected. While airlifting supplies is no longer the most economical option, we are now partnering with other organizations to ensure that critical resources reach the areas that need them most.
