What better of an opportunity to help save lives from drowning and drive water safety awareness than a life jacket kiosk. Make an Impact Foundation partnered with the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission and Safe Kids Iredell County to build a new life jacket loaner station at Lake Norman State Park. This is the sixth loaner station of it’s kind in Iredell County. Boaters will have easy access to these life jackets at boat ramps, marinas and parks at the following access points: Pinnacle, McCrary Creek, Hager Creek, Stumpy Creek, Sharon as well as the new one at Lake Norman State Park. Boaters may borrow the life jackets at no cost and are asked to return them when they are finished.
