In collaboration with EDU Healthcare, the Make an Impact Foundation was able to bless students throughout Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools with the “Bless a Birthday” project. Many of these kids are temporarily homeless. Unfortunately, they don’t have the resources to celebrate their birthday with their classmates. Through this project we were able to provide those children with the supplies and treats so they could experience birthday joy in their class among their peers – of course anonymously. This also gave them a chance to be a giver in their peer environment and be recognized in that way.
