URGENT community need! COVID-19 Virus Help Opportunities

The Make an Impact Foundation’s mission is helping underprivileged children. During these times of pandemic status due to the COVID-19 our children might not be susceptible to the virus, but they are suffering from other issues due to this virus.  After discussions with other local nonprofits and school systems we’ve determined a good number of local children normally receive meals at school and with all NC public school systems closed, these children aren’t receiving those meals or snacks.  That said, we are working to provide those children with food and hygiene kits.  If you are able and interested in helping local children in need, please see below on the two ways we are continuing our mission and working to help local children.  Please remember if you do provide assistance take precautions to protect yourselves and those you are donating to.  You can use online shopping with delivery to our offices, [...]

Smith, the founder, chairman and CEO of Vista Equity, announced his plan to pay off student loans for Morehouse College’s entire 2019 graduating class. At the same time, MacKenzie Bezos, the ex-wife of Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, signed the Giving Pledge, agreeing to earmark half of her wealth for charitable donations. As wealthy Americans like Smith and Bezos make public displays of generosity, employees of large and small companies may wish for their jobs to follow suit. This is especially true for millennial and Gen [...]
